Alder Cote is a 20-year-old artist born in Riverside, California, who grew up between Southern California and Valencia, Spain.
Raised by two musician parents, music was a constant presence that influenced both his creative instincts and songwriting. Now based in Tennessee while attending university, Alder is creating songs that focus on raw storytelling, set against swelling landscapes.
His debut single, First Night of My Life, lives in the vulnerability of being young and in love. Written late one night in a dorm room in Spain, Alder tells the story of the moment his life started.
